Water then passes through the Supersaver™ fine-mesh ion-exchange resin, which effectively reduces water hardness and removes up to 10 ppm of dissolved ferrous iron. This dual-action process prevents limescale buildup, protects household appliances, and eliminates red iron stains.
The system is managed by an intelligent electronic controller with a 4-button display that monitors usage and automatically initiates demand-based regeneration. The entire eco-friendly regeneration process is completed in just 18.5 minutes, consuming only 14.5 gallons (approx. 55 liters) of water and 1.0 lb (0.5 kg) of salt on its low-setting up to 28.6 gallons (108.3 L) and 12 lbs (5.4 kg) at maximum capacity.
